Know Who You Are

"Why is it that I am continually trying to justify myself, my beliefs and what I have achieved" the Young man asked.

"That is very simple" replied the old man "It is because you do not know who you are. What you are doing is because you do not who you are, you are then trying to get a picture of what you are through external manifestations. What people think of you, your possesions your acheivements. Unfortunatley the more you try to prove yourself of justify your actions the more wrapped up in the result or outcome you become. This also means that your sense of self worth is also tied to the outcome of any action.

People will always perceive you from thier own perspective anyway so ultimatley what their feelings are towards you will never be a true reflection of who you are. Because of this your sense self worth will be a continual changing up and down, like the surface of the ocean never being still and centered.

Once you start to recognise this and cease to justify yourself all the time you then also start to do the things that you have always wanted to do and not what others expect of you. Life then begins to open up as the censorship you place on you actions dies and you start to grow.

Honestly how can you know yourself if you are continually seeking approval, Knowing yourself is the greatest gift that god has given to man, because once you know yourself you then understand all others and can see the wonderfull creation that exists not only within but without as well for it is the same."

The Young man thought about this and recognised in his life that all he had ever done was seek approval, never stopping and saying enough becuse enough had never and will never be enough.

I am Psychic so are You

Every person I have ever met is Psychic on one level or another, the problem as I perceive it is that there are different types of abilities.

Most people perceive that being psychic means that you see ghosts or spirits, in fact this could not be further from the truth.

For me being psychic means that you see feel or hear things that do not relate to the fixed "Real World" what I mean is that through perception you pick up things that have no tangible basis and are not based upon fact.

Ok lets start, have you ever had a gut instinct about something, have you ever felt sad when in someone elses company for no accountable reason. Have you taken an instant dislike for someone even though you have said no more than a few words to them. Equally have you ever felt upon meeting someone that you have known them for along time. Have you ever suddenly felt chills up your spine for no accountable reason. Have you known the result of something before you have started. Have you had the sudden impulse to do something even though it is totally out of character.

If you can relate to any of the above these are all signs of Psychic ability.

So how do you develop these abilities, like anything it requires practice and I will honestly say that the only difference between myself and others is that I trust the feelings I am getting more than others.

So the first thing to do is experiment with any thoughts or feelings you are getting, I always ask myself why am I getting this information or feeling then I allow it to grow stronger, rather than disregarding it on first encounter.

Once you start to do this your abilities will start to grow and with that comes a level of understanding, I will not say that it is easy because in reality there is only one thing that stops us being truly psychic and that is the logical mind.

The logical mind is that part of us that says no don't be stupid, what will other people think of you, and it is always active permanently stopping the intuitive side of you working.

If you would like me to discuss this topic further all you have to do is ask.

Meditation, Integration into your Daily Life

For those of you who are unaware, meditation is the key to integrating your spiritual soul into your daily being. Your spiritual soul exists at all times, yet it is only at times of complete harmony and peace that we become aware of this side of ourselves. Yet it plays constantly with us creating Karma for us to endure, it is if you like molding us through experience, teaching us that we have no control over ourselves, others and our environment.

It is if you like, like swimming in quicksand the more you struggle the worse it gets.  Whereas as soon as you stop struggling and trying to achieve, you rise to the surface and so it is with this realisation you find out who you are!

So how do you move yourself closer to you soul?  Simple really, you stop trying to control the future and seeing the past in terms of failure or success. Stop measuring yourself against others or against your own expectations.  You already are perfect.  Remember this!!

You are in exactly the right place and time to move forward on a spiritual level NOW, no ifs and buts the time is now.

So how to integrate meditation into every waking moment?

Focus totally upon what you are doing at that moment in time.  Just do what you are doing with no expectations about the outcome. No thoughts as to is this right or wrong?   As soon as your mind or emotions start to drift pull them back to the here and now.

When talking to others, speak from the heart.   Be honest and open, yet have integrity to yourself. However, with being truthful, comes the resposibility of never being destructive, always empower others, do not let your ego dictate your reactions.  Do not concern yourselves in the fact that they are only interested in themselves, for that is the nature of life.  Remember you have been like that too.

Remember that this is your JOURNEY, one that you have chosen to embark upon.   It is your choice.   Others may choose to make the same journey, but they will be making that journey from a different departure point.

And finally, once you embark upon this journey and you start to understand yourself, you will then start to see clearly where others are upon their journey too and what things they are yet to experience.  However, you will only ever understand what you have already experienced so if you meet people further along the pathway there will be little understanding.

Astral Projection

Today I had a client who has just experienced Astral projection so I thought it would be a good idea to explain in my own terms what Astral projection is and how you can start to embrace it and use it.

Before I can explain what astral projection is first I must explain that we have two types of body. We have the physical body which only exists in the here and now and is subject to time and distance and then we have the Astral body which is also be called the metaphysical body or the soul. It is if you like that part of us which never dies.

In its simplest form it is the act of flying when dreaming, most of us have experienced the phenomenon of falling in a dream state and then waking up with a jump. Certainly when we were younger this will have happened to a lot of people.

Because of the fear of this type of dream some of you will literally before you fall asleep jump in your beds. This is the brains way of stopping the astral body from leaving your corporeal body.

So as you have seen Astral Projection is when the spiritual body leaves the physical body, the Astral body is neither constrained by time, distance, or levels of existence.

What I mean by this that with the astral body you can move backwards and forwards in time, you can visit any place on the the earth or elsewhere for that matter and you can travel in the spiritual realms.

So what can Astral projection be used for:
* Past Life Regression.
* Visiting people remotely.
* Looking into the future. (what you must bear in mind here is that you will always be seeing potential rather than reality)
* Working on the astral plane (this can be used to alleviate fears in others or psychically protect people)
* Visiting the Spiritual planes where you can communicate with loved ones or your spirit guides.

One final note that I feel I must express is that a lot of people are fearful of using this tool, however in my experience I have nor the people I have guided have experienced anything that has frightened them all that has come from the experience is a further level of understanding.

Understanding Yourself and others

Everything that we perceive is nothing more than the one, everyone perceives the one in different ways no one sees the same situation in the same way.
Do not judge others because their perception is different from yours for that is their nature and is based upon their experiences.
Every word that is written will be perceived in a different way some will like it some will hate it and some will be at every point in between these 2 extremes.
For these reasons you should never judge yourself because the parameters are always skewed, you are not this, you are not that, what you forget is what you are!
Stillness in thought and action is the only pathway forward, do not try to double guess your options do what you believe is right this is the only pathway to success for you will never be all things to all men. Always work from a position of integrity that is your right and no one can take this away from you.

You already are perfect, once you realise this you cease to struggle trying to improve perfection, for this is like trying to gild the lily to make it more perfect.
Your view point is only valid for you because this is based upon all of your experiences, some people may be able to understand this view point but only if their experiences have been similar. So why get sad when you are misunderstood, this is the problem with communication, one is always talking from their perception of a situation, so if you want to be understood firstly you have to understand the perceptions of the person you are communicating with.
You will always find at times that people will get upset at what you are saying that is because you have phrased it in such a way that you understand but from their perception means exactly the opposite.

The biggest problem with the written word or verbal communication is that it comes from the mind and as such is always scanned by the ego before anything is said and written and as such is always designed to impress the listener or the reader, yet until we learn as a species to communicate totally on an emotional level we will always create conflict in our lives. The answer to this conundrum is to speak or write in such a way as to stop the ego or your own sense of self worth getting in the way, never judge what you are saying don't try to say the right thing, for it is only then that you are truly communicating.

When listening do not listen to the words that are said, listen to what is trying to be communicated for there will always be a sub-message to what is being said. See what resonates with you as the true meaning. However communication is about understanding so there will always be times in your life when you are trying to communicate with someone whose terms of reference are so different to your that you will have to understand where they are coming from first before you can talk in terms that they will understand. To do this you must rather than be confrontational you must find areas of agreement and understanding.

There will also be times when that area of understanding is so different that the only course of action is to separate yourself from this person.

OK on to this conundrum and how to square this circle “you are responsible for everything that happens to you” and “no matter how hard you try you cannot control anything”
In essence all of us try to control our lives we try and control what others think of us, we control our environments. Yet we are always failing, the more we perceive that we are in control the unhappier we become as the only way to be truly in control would be to live in a bubble isolated from the environment and others. True control and becoming responsible for everything that happens to you is achieved through flexibility it comes from understanding that everything is in a state of flux and is forever shifting. Once you start to understand this you start to respond to those shifts and change yourself according to the environment around you at that moment in time. You become like a wave on a long sandy beach moulding and moving yourself around the barriers in your way. That my friend is true control and responsibility for you actions.

Karma for the beginner

Karma put simply, is the result you get from something you have done or not done in the past.

It can be as simple as not looking where you are going and walking into someone.

It can also be as complex as who you are and the lessons that you encounter in this lifetime.

The one factor that must be recognised at all times is that you are entirely responsible for your own Karma no-one else is.

So, if you are responsible for your Karma, it stands to reason that the only person who can get rid of your Karma, is You.

Karma is fluid and is always in action in our lives, so if you change, you create different karma.

The beauty of this is if you dont like the outcome of your actions, change your actions and you change the outcome, or your Karma.

One general misconception about Karma that a lot of people subscribe to, is that we inherit bad karma from previous lives.

This belief would indicate that Karma is stored for future payback.   My experience shows that people are the sum of all their parts at this moment in time.  Karma is always working in the present with nothing stored for the future.

Your genetics and your upbringing all dictate the Karma you encounter at a given moment in time, but, and this is the big but, through changing yourself today, you change your Karma.

Not all changes have to be big, start on the little things. For all of us there are areas where we don't like the outcomes we are currently achieving,  so just change a little bit today.

One of the other things I have come to recognise about Karma is that our thoughts and our perceptions also create Karma. This is how creative visualtion works, your thoughts your fears really do become manifest through the law of Karma.

Sculpture by Laura Lian

So what I would suggest to you is, today, write down a list of the things that you would have liked to achieve in the next three months and, through doing this, you start to make Karma work for you.

Evolutuion of Man!

Evolutuion of Man!
I was asked the following question recently:
“What type of beings will evolve after humans and why?”
To start off with we have to look at how man has evolved thus far during the history of the planet and you can see that he has as a generalisation evolved through 3 distinct stages.
1.Physical
2.Mental
3.Emotional
Initially when we came down from the trees all we where interested in was was Physical aspects - food, procreation and sleep and everything revolved around your own self interest.
The next evolution was when man started to use his Mind.  This is characterised by man starting to work together and evolving hunter gatherer aspects and finding security in numbers, so that through joint interest, the individual flourishes. This period is also associated with man using his brain to control his environment and to overcome others with manipulation and power.
The third evolution was when man started to discover Emotion and love.  This is characterised with the start of religions and the initiation of man looking outside of himself and seeing beyond his own self interest.
Now I appreciate that all of us still know individuals who are still only interested in self – these people, for want of a better word, are younger Souls. However I will argue most strenuously that man and the planet has evolved in terms of Spirituality so that now it is more evolved than it was 100 years ago.
So what is the next stage of evolution for the world and man.  In one word it is Empathy. On a simplistic level, Empathy is seen as seeing and understanding someone else’s point of view.
What I mean by Empathy is the following:
Totally understanding others and perceiving their point of view without any form of judgement and unconditionally allowing them the freedom to act as they wish, provided it doesn’t harm anyone else without their permission in the process or harm the planet. It is if you like Unconditional Love and Trust rolled into one.
Empathy is the ability to see people for who they are without any verbal communication. So it is the ability that Clairsentients exhibit if you like but on a much higher scale.
Empathy means you also understand the environment we all live in so it is a heightened sense of the world our planet and its needs.
Empathy is the recognition that the planet, the flora and fauna, and all animals that exist are part of the whole and there is no differentiation between any of these things.
Empathy is a higher purer more evolved form of love.
Empathy comes from the solar plexus chakra
So for me the next being that will evolve is that of the fully empathic being one that lives and breathes understanding of others and his environment.

The Nature of the Beast

Who am I, what am I this is a question that I have been asking myself all my life, on an external level that is very easy to understand for I am the product of my genetics and my upbringing.

However on an inner level that answer never gave me any contentment as I was always looking for more, why did I feel so different from my parents, friends and society at general. I knew I was different but how to prove it that was the issue for me.

So from an early age I went about trying to find who I was, excelling at sport and finance. yet in reality I became more dissatisfied with life even though on an external level I was a so called success. What I realised during this era of my life is that there is always going to be someone better than you, so perhaps I learnt a little humility I hope.

Yet I realised then that I was never going to gain the answers I was looking for on an external level and in effect I gave up trying to prove myself to others.

As soon as this happened from my perception I started to grow on an inner level and I started to realise for want of a better name the nature of the beast.

Every creature on this planet has a nature, that is to say it is what it is, yet it is this nature that is its very barrier to evolution. This nature creates its very being it dictates its action and reaction it also creates its destiny. Evolution is the means by which we and all animals can escape this nature or destiny.

The Wolf and the Dog.

We all know about the nature of the wolf yet through the creation of trust the wolf has evolved into the dog, its nature to some part is still that of the wolf yet through trust the dog can evolve still further.

And on to Man

Trough observation and experience I have come to understand that Man has in effect 3 natures:

  1. Physical
  2. Mental
  3. Emotional

The youngest souls just work on a physical level and they are characterised by their need to acquire things and as such their lives are very simple as their whole lives revolve around themselves and their needs." I want" is an example of what drives them. They also just react to their situations without any thought on the consequences and it is always motivated by what they need. As they are young souls they are also allowed to dump on others and always coming away smelling of Roses.

The middle aged souls work on a mental level and as such are characterised by the words "I Will" for them the mind or will is paramount. They are intellectual enough to plan their lives and use ambition to succeed, plan is their moto as is control of their environment. They can be manipulative with other souls and ultimately they will use others to get what they want on whatever level. They also will blame external reason for their lack of success.

And so on to Older Souls, Older souls are characterised by their emotions or the words "I Feel", Emotions control their very being. Every action they take tends to be associated with "what will so and so think of me" So as such their lives are dictated by other peoples needs. Empathy is a great thing but it can also be totally debilitating.

Ok I acept that this is a very simplistic view on the nature of man, because in reality we all encompass these 3 natures to a varying degree, however it is by looking at the simple that you can then understand yours and others nature.

Past Life Regression- A Meditation

Past Lives we have all had them some more than others yet the fact remains we all have some experience of lives before this one.

All of us have at least some Karmic Debt that is still playing out in our lives today, sometimes it is also useful to understand what that debt is and why you seem to be repeating patterns.

So before we start there are a few things I feel I must say to you.
Firstly do not be disappointed if you find the life you lead previously is not someone famous. An important point I must raise here is that I kmow 3 psychics who beleive they were Chief Sitting Bull and two people who beleive they were Marie Antoinette.

When people have done this meditation I have yet had anyone beleive thay were anyone famous in fact sometimes the more mundane the better.

Secondly to not expect anything overpowering what you have to realise is that you are in effect remembering past experiences so it will seem mundane and ordinary very much like your current memories of your life.

Thirdly if it works as it is supposed to do you will return a calmer more reflective person who realises that nothing needs to be achieved today and that life is a continueing process.

So to the Meditation

If you are new to meditation, firstly you need to get you surroundings correct so find a quiet space, adjust the lighting to suit you, put on music if you find that relaxing. Remember this is for you so do whatever suits you to help you feel relaxed.

Now sit, I am not one of those that advocates a specific posture just sit so that you are comfortable.

Now close your eyes and still your breathing, still your thoughts.

Now what you need to do is focus on your head imagine it getting bigger then your torso then your hands, then your legs and finally your feet.

Now do the oposite imagine everything getting smaller.

Follow this process a few more times repeating the larger, smaller process.

For those that want to know all you are doing here is loosening your Astral body from your Physical Body.

All you do know is focus upon your feet and you will noticed thay have changed look at your legs and the same process has happened you are now free to look around you and more closely at who you are what you are and why you are.

What also is interesting about this process is because you have lived this life and then moved on to the spirit world you will remember your failings, strengths, lesons learned and tests failed. But you will be able to do it wiyh a clear anylitical mind. Something you find impossible in your current incarnation as everything is just Too close!!

The other important fact to note is that from this life you will be carrying Karmic debt so you will be able to observe the lessons of this lifetime more dispassionatly.

And finally there is no special process for ending the meditation just open your eyes.

So go ahead give it a try and have fun learning.

Palmistry the physical link to your Karmic Soul

What is Palmistry

What is Palmistry?

To me, Palmistry is the physical link to your Karmic Soul and as such, shows me a persons Abilities on a Physical, Mental, Emotional and Karmic level. Obviously, it also shows me the weaknesses as well.

It shows me your current state of mind and how you have evolved during your lifetime as well as indicating what lessons you are currently encountering in your life. Are you contented or unhappy and what area is causing these feelings?

So for me, Palmistry is a very powerful tool in the sense that it can show me where a person is at. It is if you like, the physical manifestation of everything that we are at this moment in time and that is an important distinction.

Once you start to use Palmistry, you start to recognise that for some of us there is no such thing as Destiny (Destiny for me indicates that our live are pre ordained). How I prefer to look at life, is to say that we all have within us potential, and Palmistry shows me how a person can realise that potential or at least get very close to it.

If you would like me to expand upon theses ideas please add a comment

Love is absolute trust

Love is absolute Trust

There is no such thing as love without trust.

Love can only exist with trust.

Unconditionaly love means exactly that love without conditions otherwise love as you percieve it becomes control.

The only way to enter a loving relationship is to give trust, absolute trust.

If you go in to a relationship with fear you enter a fearful relationship one were you expect to be hurt so guess what happens you get hurt.

You are your own self fullfilling prophesy. Expect and so shall you be treated.

So rise above your own expectations, stop the memories of the past imprinting upon you current now and stop trying to control your future.

Do not have expectations of the relationship good or bad just give, remember that a relationship is in the here and know and exists only at this moment in time.

Tomorrow is another day but it is also a evolution of today so if you make your time today perfect tomorow will evolve from that perfection.

Remember love is trust and trust is love.

Most people have barriers that they erect around themselve this is a way of preventing pain from entering their lives, again the only way to pull down these barriers is through trust as trust engenders trust.

Fear of hurt can be paralysing yet you can stop that paralysis through trust it will take time but in the end trust is the tool that can break down the barriers of fear.

Looking for a Spiritual Teacher

Looking for a Spiritual Teacher.

Once we as spiritual creatures accept that our journey is one of understanding, who are we, why are we here, what is the point of everything.

We all start looking for guidance; we do this by reading books, by looking for certainties and guarantees and by listening to others who set themselves up as teachers.

Unfortunately what you are acquiring here is knowledge based upon another persons perception, that is to say that the wisdom they impart is totally down to their own level of understanding. What I guess I am trying to say also is that as we are all at a different level of understanding and what is the truth for one person is an untruth for someone else.

We also then have the problem of communication, what I mean and someone else means by a single word are always very different. OK let’s look at the statement:

"I feel lonely"

For some of you, you will have felt most lonely when surrounded by people due impart to not being understood by others, now for most of you I suspect the opposite is true. The major problem I have with the old scriptures is exactly that that firstly we are relying on a translation and secondly true teaching is done on an emotional level.

So what you are looking for in truth is a level of understanding that resonates with your inner being, it doesn’t matter where the source of this information comes from, what matters is the effect it has upon you.

So what I have to say to you is stop looking externally for guidance, start to look internally.

Stop looking for Knowledge and start looking for wisdom, Wisdom is the wise use of Knowledge and is gained through and only through experience.

Experience is only gained through making mistakes. So stop trying to make perfect decisions and recognise that mistakes lead to wisdom.

I can honestly say that through this process of making mistakes I have gained a level of understanding of who and what I am, rather than looking at my life and say failure, I am contented now that I am starting to listen to my inner teacher.

So what I am trying to say to all of you is that we all have within us an inner teacher.

Listen to this teacher, I know that at time of stress this can be very hard as we are all subject to external issues, however the harder you try and follow that guidance the more in harmony with you potential destiny you become.

Once you start on this pathway you start to find that everyone around you becomes a spiritual teacher as your soul dictates the lessons you encounter.

If you have read this far, firstly I want to say thank you, secondly something of what I have said may resonate with you, so especially for you I offer you this as it may be of help.

Recognise that to evolve as a soul is impossible as you already are perfection, to evolve as a human being is also impossible as this is what separates us from our soul.

For me this reminds me of two neighbours living next door to each other with a fence between the two properties.

Once you start to live with trust, trusting your higher self eliminating fear of the unknown, eliminating the need to control your destiny in all matters. You start to pull down the fence and start to incorporate your soul in your daily living and that my friend is Enlightenment.

Understanding Karma

Karma is a misunderstood concept by many, yet it is in continual action in our lives and it is the foudation of everything that happens to us.

The easiest way to understand Karma is to use this ananology. You plant a Tomato seed and it grows into a tomato plant producing fruit.

It is as simple and complex as that!

Now suppose you surround that seed planting it in fertalised soil, protect it from the frost, keep it warm and norished with water and fertiliser, put it in a sunny position and support it with a stake whilst it is growing. What then will be the outcome? The production of fruit will easily double.

Yet if you take the opposite approach to growing the tomato seed you will be very lucky if you ever get a plant let alone fruit and if you do, the fruit itself will be worthless.

And so it is with life

Every situation in our lives is the equivilent of that ripe tomato the rewards of our actions if you like.

Now you have a little understanding of Karma let us move on.

How to work with Karma to get the results you want.

The seed is the equivilent to our thoughts.

The soil we plant the seed in is the equivilent to our expectations of the outcome.

The frost is the equivilent of other peoples negitivity towards you

The sun is the positivity that other people direct to you

The fertiliser is the equvilent of you spiritual strength

The water is the equivilent to contol, too much need to control the outcome and the plant will die too little and again the plant will not flourish. Here we need to replace control with trust trust that the devine will water the plant with just the right amount of water.

And finally we come to the stake which for me symbolises the fact that Karma is Organic and grows in way that always produces unexpected results however we must also recognise that we are responsible for our own spiritual growth and that the stake that allows further growth is is aour certainty the we are resonsible for all our actions and thus responsible for everything that happens to us.

So now what do I need to do to to the outcomes I want

1, Start by creating thoughts and then witing these thoughts down on a piece of paper. Through this act you you are planting the seed of an idea.
2, Surround yourself with people who are positive, and do not have a need to control you.
3, Trust and beleive the outcome will be positive to you and others.
4, Do not try to control the outcome, accept that the universe will create the outcome that is most beneficial to you.
5, Accept that like nature the most beautiful ideas always grow in an organic way producing unpredictability.
6, Accept that people will come into your life who will show you the way forward.
7, If you do not like the outcomes of your actions, change your actions so that the harvest will be bountiful

A Guide For Old Souls

The first thing you have to recognise is the fact that you are an old soul, how you do this is to look at your sensitivity, how sensitive are you to other people and their needs.
Can you always see someone elses point of view, do you recognise these points of view when coming to desisions. Do you put other people first?
If the answer is yes you are certainly an old soul as you are exibiting all the signs of EMPATHY.
The other attributes of an old soul are:
The need for quite and space at time from others.
Having been bullied at some time in your life or felt that you were an outsider.
Emotions and feelings that are not your own
Very little interest in politics or current affairs.
A Sense that life evolves but it never really changes and with that a sense od sadness.
The ability to create in life whatever you want but then when you get what you wanted a sadness as the realisation dawns on you that this acheivement gives you no Satisfaction.
A thirst to understand who you are.
A strong desire for Peace, Quite and Contentment.
A sense of failure when you realise that you cannot help someone close to you.
Feeling guilty that you are selfish.
A desire to be of value to Society
A need to feel love and to meet someone who understands you.
Continually trying to improve yourself
Competeing not with others but with yourself.
A thirst for knowledge so that you can understand what motivates you!

So now you recognise that you are an old Soul what next.

The most important matter you have to realise is that your journey in life is an inward journey rather than an external journey.

What I mean by this is that to understand who you are and why things happen to you you must first travel to your inner self to look for the answers. You will never find the answers you are looking for externally.

I am not going to say to you that this journey is easy because it means addressing and understanding your fears, what motivates you and finally it means removing the shell or armour that you have created to protect yourself from being hurt.

So how do you do this, first you have recognise that everything that happens to you, is because of they person you portray to the outside world. Secondly everything that happens to you is your fault.

Once you start to recognise this you can start to modify your actions so that you can create the outcomes that are more in harmony with you SOUL need. More!!

Spiritual Creatures

Spiritual Creatures

Whether you choose to accept or not we are all spiritual creatures, with a soul urge that is designed to lead us to a higher plane of existance.

We are all born with a specific set of strengths and weakness which dictate the lessons in life we will encounter and it is though these lessons
that we hopefully will gain a level of understanding and move closer to our goal.

I have also observed that a persons strengths are also there weaknesses in that a person who is sensitive can be too sensitive a inapropiate times

So how do you find out what your lessons are in life, how do you come to understand who you are, the answer is in your failures. Now to understand
this requires a great deal of honesty and courage as these areas are the most painful to us.

The first step is to look at the most painful experience we have ever had, then look at what YOU did to cause this pain, dont forget that you are
responsible for everything that ever happens to you. Now if you are brave enough you will see what drove you to take the actions that you took.

Once you understand these issues you can then start to address them in your daily life, More!!

Fear The Emotional Response To Uncertainty

Every person on this planet has at sometimes experienced Fear, some more than others yet it is still considered to be a normal human characteristic. Yet at times this emotion can be totally debilitating and destructive, the stonger the desire the greater the fear

Yet it is my beleif that we can all reduce fear in our lives by recognising the source of fear and that source is Uncertainty.
The greater the need for control of your destiny the greater the fear,

Once you start to recognise that nothing is within your control you start to feel fearless, however the only way to acheive this sense of inner balance is by trusting the outcome will be to your spiritual benefit,

Soulmates, Love and Happiness, Sadness and Hate

People always talk about meeting their soulmate, but what is a soulmate.

A soulmate is someone that on a spiritual level you know, have always known and will always know.

A soulmates task is to allow you to develope on a spiritual level and thus a human level so that you confront the lessons of this lifetime and evolve as a spiritual being.

That being said there are two types of soulmate, those that you love and those that you hate and sometimes they can be both.

Remeber the first task of a soulmate is to help you evolve spiritually, so relationships will never be easy in a sense that they usually appear and throw your whole life into conflict and change. Meeting a soulmate will always create revolution in your life. Sometimes they are meant to stay in your life sometimes not.

Whatever your relationship with a soulmate your life will never be the same again and for this you should always give thanks as a soulmate is here to teach you about yourself.

Your Soulmate is your Spiritual Guide on earth

The Magic behind changing your life

Every single person I have ever met, is disatisfied with their life, I honestly have got to say I have never spoken to anyone who is content with their position.

Disatisfaction or unhappiness is the natural state for everyone

Yet at this moment in time I can honestly say I am content, so why am I so different from everyone else.

The reason for this is quite simple I am aware that I am resposible for everything that happens to me. What this means is that if I dont like the outcome of my actions, I change my actions.

I am also aware that life is a journey of understanding and that everything that happens to me is nothing more than a learning experience and if I dont like the experience I change my actions so that in the future this experience will never happen again.

I am also aware that with thoughts or intention I can open avenues for further growth. Now we get to the main theme of this post.

Did you know that you can change your life with nothing more than a thought!

Simple really change your thoughts to positivety and positive things start happening to you. Remember your thoughts are your reality nothing more. Our lives are the sum of all our thoughts, you are a self fulfilling prophesy.

You are what you consistantly think you are nothing more nothing less.

So I have to say to you Trust, Trust, Trust that you are consistantly moving forward in a positive direction.

Let life find for you the pathway to peace of mind rather than controlling your destiny for it is only through this that you will find contentment.

Peace be with You

Peter

Tarot Ace of Swords

Ace of Swords

As with other suits within the Tarot Deck the Ace symbolises the start of any thoughts or actions.

Within the suit of Swords the Ace sybolises congruent or to put it another way good thoughts it always comes prior to action but with the Ace the action will in all likely hood be successful.

Working within Karmic laws the ace sybolises that place where the devine gives assistance to the outcome, it is how so called magic works; Creative visulisation works It is the thinking behind any actions that you may well take.

Provided the thinking is positive the outcome will always be positive, the opposite is also true If the thinking is negative the outcome will also be negative.

As you sow so shall you reap

Always be carefull when this card is shown as your thought will become manifest.

Spiritual Basis Blog - Tarot Queen of Swords

For me this card represents material matters that are in harmony with you current position it indicates that whatever you are trying to achieve will be successful

It also indicates a period of inward reflection regarding your material desires and can indicate a time of preparation before your start to take action.

It also advises against hasty action and would indicate that action will be required, however the time for that action has not yet arrived and you would be better served in a period of contemplation.

It also indicates that you best served building you confidence in you own abilities and to understand what it is that is motivating you

The strenght of this card is the quiet before the storm, peace before action it is the equivilent of a day of rest before the working week.

A time for self, a time for reflection and a time to look at your needs.

Peace, quiet, inner strength, passive strenght, gentleness of action.

Spiritual Basis Blog - Tarot Sword 10

Spiritual Basis Blog - Tarot Sword 10

For me this card has always sybolised a position of security, however for me it shows that that position is tempory, now Tempory can mean anything from weeks to years.

It sybolises to me an oasis in the middle of a desert somewhere where you feel secure yet you know in your heart of hearts that at some time you will be forced to make changes.

It can also symbolise the fight between your spiritual needs as a person and your material needs, yet it also shows that your current position is currently stable there is no need for change at this moment, for me this like a gentle wind pushing you in the direction of your needs.

It is a period of tranquility between periods of restlessness and it is a point to look at your needs and what is the basis of those needs.

Ultimatley it is that period that a caterpiller changes into a butterfly it is the cacoon stage of evolution or on a meditation level it is the place between breaths.

Harmony, tranquility, evolution, peace

Spiritual Basis Blog - Tarot Major Arcana 11, Justice (Sovereignty)

Spiritual Basis Blog - Tarot Major Arcana 11, Justice (Sovereignty)

This card symbolises Balance the recognition of fairness on a spiritual level, legal issues on a mundane level, connectedness to spirit, the eternal flame that lights us all.
It also shows us that something is never simple black and white that all issues have a deeper significance than we can currently percieve.

The card also symbolises to me energy for greatness and how to tap that potential. This energy can only ever be attained when the user is in total harmony with their surroundings and desires.

Look closely into this card and you will find a thirst for knowledge balanced by harmony with our surroundings. Everything you need as opposed desires is attainable if you live your life in Harmony with your surroundings.

Life is always Perfect, perfection is always balanced, life without extremes is the pathway to enlightenment.

Spiritual Basis Blog Tarot 1 The Magician (Melin)

1, Merlin

This card symbolises to me the synergy all areas of our life posess, meaning that relationships effect our career career effects our health health effects our security and so on.
Yet the true master of everything is ourselves we create our own destiny's we are responsible for everything that happens to us. No one can make you happy no one can make you secure only you.

This card also symbolises the balance between positive and negitive, good and bad and teaches us to recognise the flow of life fluctuating between these two poles. Life is like floating on an ocean sometime you are at the crest of the waves sometimes you are at the bottom, recognises that bad things come to and end as do good things. Our task in life is to look at the impermanance of everything

The card also symbolises the eternity of the soul, sugesting that we have forever to evolve yet our journey is one of evolution taken a step at a time.

The card aslo shows the pathway that all must take to enlightenment and even tells us how to achieve that elightenment.

Look closely at the card and you will become aware of the journey that must be taken.

Always

Emotional Security and Trust

Something I have observed is that the need for emotional security is the most powerful driving force on our planet.

Yet in my experience most people never reach this level of contentment. This I find very sad because in reality it is every person's right to acheive emotional security.

So the question is why and the answer is quite simple "FEAR"

Fear of change
Fear of no control
Fear of rejection
Fear of letting go

One thing that must also be understood is that there is only one person responsible for your happiness and that is you. No one can make you happy.

So how do you gain emotional security, cease to worry about tomorrow stop trying to control your destiny and most importantly allow your loved ones the freedom to make thier own lives.

We all of us have unlimited potential, in my opinion the only barrier to this source of creativity is our own perception of our abilities.

So how do we gain access to this potential:

The most important thing to recognise is that you can only start to release this potential if the thought of what you are doing makes you content and fulfilled.

Once you start to move forward in this direction you release unlimeted potential

So stop judging your actions and move forward with grace
